| Kiwitub under the verandah |
The tub’s perfectly at home in an urban setting. The concrete slab floor of this verandah is sloped slightly
away from the house: a good thing given the splashes from the tub!
Although the verandah roof was transparent plastic, there were no problems with the hot air rising from the flue.
The tub was filled from a garden hose, and emptied with the same length of hose now connected to the drainage cock
on the burner and running to a stormwater drain. This is fine because the tub doesn’t use chemicals.
