This one is on the deck spanning two boatsheds belonging to friends at Broad Bay on Otago Harbour. It’s definitely welcome after swimming in Dunedin sea temperatures!

The tub can use fresh water or seawater, and this can later be safely drained over the side into the sea or lake as no chemicals are added. It’s ideal for jetties in places such as the Marlborough Sounds where fresh water can be scarce but you’re not going to run out of sea. Filling the tub by a bucket on a rope takes less than ten minutes.
