A child can roll it
Kate is rolling the tub along Murdering Beach (Whareakeake) near Dunedin. The hose outlets are set in concavities so nothing protrudes.
The outer wall of the tub is moulded with a paling effect so that it can be easily faced with wood staves for the traditional wooden hot tub look. They also act like tank tracks for rolling the tub uphill.
We’ve rolled it across river shingle and boulders, rock shelves, roads, snow, etc. with no harm to the tub except some external scratches. The very tough polyethylene plastic which the tub is made of is the same used for whitewater kayaks. These will bounce off rocks in the middle of rapids - and we've had the tub do the same. No photos, as we were too busy surviving at the time!
